USQ Global Learning Programmes

Study tours

We provide a unique opportunity for students, academics and professionals seeking to internationalise their education and improve their English, at the USQ Toowoomba campus.

Study tour groups are welcomed to the USQ Toowoomba campus throughout the year for periods of 2 – 12 weeks. Each program is flexible and custom-designed by our in house experts to meet your group’s specific requirements.

Our vibrant culture and strong links with community and industry allow us to build real-world examples into our curriculum, including guest lectures from both community and government in addition to workshops and site visits.

Students will be able to enjoy a number of cultural, tourist and leisure activities that provide opportunities to practice newly-acquired language skills. Weekend trips within the Darling Downs, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane showcase give students the opportunity to discover local history and culture.

Depending on what experience you'd like, some students stay at our Residential Colleges, however others prefer to live with a local family. Homestay is a wonderful way for students to improve their English, gain confidence, learn more about Australian culture and meet new people in a friendly, nurturing environment.

Further information is available if you are interested in becoming a homestay host.
