Building and shaping communities
A close shot of Keith, wearing a blue t-shirts, reading a book.

‘I chose to study at USQ because I felt like USQ genuinely cared about me and what I wanted to study.’

With a curiosity for how new suburbs are planned, Keith found his fit at USQ by studying Urban and Regional Planning.

‘I’m intrigued by the way spaces in our cities/towns affect our quality of life, and so I’d love to have a job where I’m involved in the renewal of under-used parts of cities and see the positive effects in the community. My Urban Planning degree that I’m studying at the moment will help me achieve this goal.’

‘My program is great because most of my class sizes are small, meaning I get a more personal learning experience. Some of my lectures will also let me know about events outside of uni that are relevant and interesting to my study area.’

‘USQ is a great, friendly university that genuinely wants to set it students up with the best possible chance to succeed in life.’
