Aerospace Engineering

New Postgraduate study options

Nursing and Allied Health

  • Become a physiotherapist and gain the skills to empower individuals impacted by pain, injury, illness, or disability to optimise movement and better participate in the activities they love.
  • Explore musculoskeletal health, neurological physiotherapy, supporting those with acute conditions, and paediatric physiotherapy, and learn how to provide much-needed support to regional, rural, First Nations and low-resource communities.
  • You'll graduate career-ready after completing a variety of hands-on industry placements with the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). 

Psychology and Human Services

  • UniSQ is one of only a few universities that allows you to specialise in your counselling masters degree. You can select a speclisation to suit your career goal and interests while advancing your research skills.
  • The Master of Counselling (Qualifying) pathway enables you to apply for registration as a counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). You can choose to specialise in:
    • Addiction
    • Child, Youth & Family Therapy
    • Foundation of Practice
    • Mental Health Counselling or
    • Trauma-Focused Practice.
  • If you are a registered professional in counselling or other allied mental health disciplines who wish to extend your professional skills, the Advanced Entry pathway allows you to specialise and diversity your counselling practice. This pathway does not lead to registration as a counsellor. 
  • Become a social worker in just two years (if you study full-time) with UniSQ and embark on a career as a change agent in society. You’ll be prepared to enter an in-demand profession and work with people who are experiencing emotional, social, and economic challenges.
  • The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) can be the start of a new career in social work and can build on your existing skills to make a difference in society.
  • Develop effective communication, creative thinking, and solution-based skills and get 1000 hours of hands-on experience during field placements to prepare you for professional practice. Graduates can work clinically with individuals and families or in counselling, advocacy, community engagement, disability services, social action, and international development.
  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to people with disability in Australia to exercise choice and control over the support they receive. Study UniSQ's Graduate Certificate of NDIS Studies and explore the balance between meeting service provider obligations and maintaining quality standards without compromising the rights and autonomy of people with disability. 
  • Offered fully online, this degree ensures the experiences, voices, and perspectives of people with disability are at the core of your learning.
