Overview
USQ’s innovative contemporary music program caters for your individual interests and aspirations, and allows you to become a versatile musician with many career options.
Our music degrees centre around collaboration, and allow you the freedom to contribute as a vocalist, instrumentalist, songwriter/producer or any combination of these.
You will develop your skills through making music with your fellow students in ensembles. These ensembles are central to our practice and regularly showcased, giving you many performance opportunities and great practical experience. USQ music students enjoy plenty of opportunities to perform, record and create new works, as our lecturers focus on you as an individual and your unique needs.
Our music theory and history courses also have a strong emphasis on applying theory in practice.
