If you have a Bachelor’s degree and are looking for a career change, this is your opportunity to become a Primary or Secondary teacher.
The Queensland Government is offering scholarships through the Turn to Teaching Internship Program (TTT). As a successful applicant, you will receive:
- financial support1 while you study a Master of Learning and Teaching (Primary) or Master of Learning and Teaching (Secondary) fulltime
- a paid internship teaching position2 with support in the classroom while you gain professional experience
- a permanent teaching position in a priority subject area such as Mathematics, Sciences, Languages, Design and Technologies (including Engineering), and /or a priority location in a Queensland State school following graduation and provisional registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
As a University of Southern Queensland Turn-to-Teaching intern, you have the additional benefit of:

1 Financial support is provided in the first year through a $20,000 (taxed) scholarship and for the remainder of the program through paid full-time internship employment in a school.
2 Internship employment consists of 50% internship within a school and 50% university study.
