UniSQ gets a breath of fresh air

For the health and wellbeing of students, staff and visitors, UniSQ will become a smoke-free university on 31 May 2018.

The smoke-free higher education and training initiative is being implemented by the Queensland Government to facilitate and support the transition to smoke-free campuses at all Queensland universities, TAFEs and registered training organisations.

Why quit?

There are many reasons you might like to quit smoking – health benefits, psychological and social benefits or maybe to have some extra money.

The iCanQuit Calculator allows you to select a savings goal and calculates the amount you are currently spending on smoking.

Planning to quit

Planning can be done quickly and smokers who plan before they quit are more successful. If you would like some advice and help to plan quitting you can call Quitline.

Support

Support resources for students and employees is available.

Please protect our environment by disposing of cigarette butts appropriately.
